I mentioned this to some of you on Friday but I thought a rather lovely bunch of comedians would be a good start to a grey Monday and so I give you:

*applauds you* dude, this is AWESOME. OH Richard Vranch at the piano *G* OH GOD I miss Whose Line, the US version doesn't live up, even if it does half the usual people on it.

WLIIA is on Dave! It the best thing ever because now I can watch whole episodes without disappearing into the depths of YouTube never to be seen again (though I did stumble cross the first ever TV WLIIA the other day, from an old Comic Relief ♥)

I'm not allowed to talk about the US version because it makes me froth at the mouth with that man who isn't even comparable with Clive. Love Colin and Ryan though i do at least the British version switched people round occasionally.

And this is why I love the Players so muc because it's Whose Line only live and brilliant and the games are longer (and Paul is better!) and Richard gets to do non-piano things.

I just pretend that man doesn't exist really. The US WLIIA is alright but it's just SO American! They make fun of the Canadians (on the show and Canadians en masse) and they make fun of the president and it's just... it's SO AMERICAN lol but yes, gotta love Greg and Ryan *G* (I totally slashed them for years before I even really knew what I was doing)

I'm sad I've never seen the Players, it sounds awesome! (I'm somewhat miffed that by not going to the latest Galactica con I missed the BSG lot doing WLIIA BSG style!)

Richard getting to do non-piano things is to be applauded, oh yes!

Well clearly we'll just have to go see them at some point, they're on every wednesday and sunday (not helpful for work the next morning sadly) and I wish to drag everyone in the world to see them!

BSG WLIIA would have been very itneresting I think *g* clearly someone should have videoed it!

Pah, work the next morning phooey! I am totally up for going! I love me some live comedy *G*

There were some very dubious pictures of it (like the guy who plays Gaeta was pretending to be Col. Tighe and the guy who plays Helo was pretending to be Admiral Adama and he was standing behind not!Tighe, who was on his knees. ... that's all very confusing, basically he was pretending to bugger him *G*) they always have the cameras on them at things like that but never appear to tape it. Weird! (though I guess tape is a bit expensive?) Also, the BSG events aren't as big as the SGA ones and the people are less likely to naughtily tape them *shrugs*

I don't think I've ever seen a show of the Players, or Paul and his Impro Chums, which didn't end up with either pretend buggery, blowjobs or other simulated sex acts... some of those games rather lend themselves to such things!

Maybe after Christmas? When life is a wee bit calmer again we could get a group together and go. 'Tis a great evening out!

He really is ♥ I am so very much in love with him :D and the joy when I discovered he was on the Paul at the Palladium video in that outfit *flails*

It really looks like Paul's got eyeliner on doesn't it, and that shirt really suits him! Sadly that wasn't one of the years I made it there so I don't know if it's a trick of the light or true (totally true)
