Nov. 12th, 2007 02:29 pmSo it took me a while to get round to this and it's rather skewed by mostly being cyclists I'm a particular fan of but, ladies and gentlemen I give you:
Cycling RPS- the picspam

Ulrich/Vinokourov, back in the days they were on the same team, were rather beautiful together as you can see.

They even got married (what? what else is this picture of then!)

Of course Ulrich also liked his other teammates too, like Kloeden

Sometimes they held hands

and especially Zabel

No really

They were great together

Sometimes, after a long battle, he hugged other cyclists too. Lance Armstrong being his main rival

OT3 (Ulrich/Basso/Armstrong) plus a baby

Of course Zabel wasn't exactly faithful either (Zabel/Bettini with added Valverde)

To move briefly away from my T-Mobile boys Lance Armstrong, for all that I'm not keen on the guy, seemed very fond of his various lieutenants. Including George Hincapie:

(I lie George is magenta now too ♥)
And the Brits can do handholding too Cavendish/Hayles

(and Mark Cavendish is magenta as well... apparently I really do focus on them ratehr too much)
I realise this next picture isn't as slashy as some but Cavendish/Hammond is rather an OTP of mine because Hammond mostly exists on T-Mobile to look after Cavendish (thoguh he's quite awesome in his own right) plus look- London!

And really that's barely scratched the surface because I've hardly touched on:
Other teams like Quickstep (Paolini/Pozzato)

Or whole teams together like the poor doomed Unibet boys

I didn't mention the potential incest pairings (Andy/Frank Schleck)

Or the Manager/Cyclist possibilities, which are often retired cyclists/current cyclists (Riis/Voigt)

And of course the bright bright future of cycling including the prettiest yellow jersey wearer of 2007 Linus Gerdemann (pictured withKim Kirchen Gerald Ciolek who's not bad looking himself)

Date: 2007-11-12 03:21 pm (UTC)(and well done for resisting the urge to talk about Armstrong's bromance with Matthew McConaughey, of which Jake Gyllenhaal is an honourary member. Though I suspect that comes from your lack of love for Lance than anything else *G*)

Date: 2007-11-12 03:30 pm (UTC)But I'm not a fan of lance (however did you guess? and mostly he runs now so he can go away :P)
This one of Jake and Lance is kind of sweet
Mostly I prefer it when it's actually cyclists touching though *g*

Date: 2007-11-12 03:35 pm (UTC)But yes, it's like, it's nice when other people manhadnle the pop boys but it's best when they manhandle each other *G* I totally understand.

Date: 2007-11-12 03:32 pm (UTC)You know I'd saved it as Gerald originally and then noticed the site I took it from said Kim and assumed I was being dense... Though goodness knows why they said that *changes it back again*

Date: 2007-11-12 03:35 pm (UTC)I really do need to find some pretty pictures of cyclists who are actually still allowed to ride though *sighs* More Linus and Mark etc.

Date: 2007-11-12 03:40 pm (UTC)To be honest, though. Cycling has gotten a lot less slashy since I first got into it. I mean, these were the days.

Date: 2007-11-12 04:03 pm (UTC)Oh that picture is so very something ♥
I was convinced there were more pictures out there of cyclists playing doctor at the medical check ups but I couldn't find any and then I realised a fair number of the slashier moments I've seen recently were either photos in magazines or were in videos :-S
Maybe when the current round of rubbishness starts fading we will get the slashiness back *crosses fingers*

Date: 2007-11-12 04:07 pm (UTC)There are, ironically (or something), they usually don't involve people I find slashy. But sometimes the tiny French cyclists prove to be quite slashy. Such as my little ones, as seen here (full size of my icon) and here. Of course, those are several years old.
Perhaps. I think a lot of the big 'otps' as it were, have been broken up/retired/etc. That or the kids I slashed have all grown up (which is also true).

Date: 2007-11-28 10:29 pm (UTC)I shared it with as many comms as I could to encourage people because
I knew there was Zabel/Pettachi out there but I couldn't find it anywhere! And Linus/Gerald would be just the thing to cheer me up after the rather rubbish T-Mobile news of late.
