slack_n_slash | MOD POST: Changes to the community

This community was originally intended to provide a space for us and our friends to dork about and slack off during working hours. Due to changes in our work circumstances, we will be changing how this community operates.

From Friday: all posts will be friends-only and membership will be moderated. Everyone who wishes to become a member will need to be vouched for by someone who is already a member, no offence but we want to be sure that everyone will be comfortable with the members of this community.

We will be spending the next couple of days locking down previous posts. If you get a comment from

seiyaharris asking you to lock an old post, please do this asap, or it may be deleted!

Once we have done that, we will be removing all the current members from the community. You can then reapply for membership.

Please direct any questions or complaints about this new arrangement to

saffronra (resident evil!mod), but remember, this isn't a democracy, this is Livejournal.

Thanks for all the slacking and slashing so far!
